Ewattch joins the Lorntech office

On December 6, at its Annual General Meeting, Lorntech has elected the new members who now make up its Board and are responsible for implementing the operational strategy of the association. It is therefore on this occasion that Nicolas, CEO of Ewattch, has been elected as Vice President, responsible for scale-up and internationalization.

Lorntech is an association created in 2016 by 4 Lorraine entrepreneurs and digital professionals. It acts as a French Tech Metropolis whose main mission is to accelerate the activity and development of start-ups and companies in the Lorraine region (Nancy, Metz, Thionville, Epinal, Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, …).

Lorntech is part of 2 French Tech thematic networks:

• The French Tech Thematic Network #FinTech
• And the French Tech #IoT #Manufacturing thematic network. It is within the framework of this network that Nicolas spoke at the Meet-Up “IoT For Good” on November 9th at BLIIIDA (Metz). On the occasion of this round table, IoT professionals spoke about the future of connected objects in an environmental context.

Indeed, Ewattch became a member of this collective around the beginning of the 2018 school year and since then, we have been at their side during numerous events:

• In September, we exhibited on the Lorntech stand at the exhibition Grand Est Numérique in Metz in which Jacques Séguéla and Bertand Piccard participated.
  During this event dedicated to digital technology in the Grand Est region and Luxembourg, Nicolas was able to present Ewattch’s solutions during the “Challenge E-solutions pour la planète“.
• Nicolas also went to Paris in October alongside 2000 other French entrepreneurs to listen to the President Emmanuel Macron speak at the Station F on the challenges and new ambitions of French Tech. He also had the opportunity to be received at the Ministry of Digital Economy to exchange with Kat Borlongan, director of the French Tech and Mounir MAHJOUBI, Secretary of State in charge of digital technology, on the challenges faced by French entrepreneurs and what’s new in this French Tech.
  
• On November 20 and 21, Ewattch was also exhibiting at href=”https://www.industriesdufutur.eu/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”> Exhibition Industry of the Future BE 4.0 in Mulhouse and alongside other entrepreneurs from the Lorntech ecosystem.
• Finally, at the beginning of December, Nicolas went to the POW WOW Lorntech taking place at the Paddock in Nancy.

Many other events are to be expected in 2019.

With this election to the Board, we are proud to be part of the Lorntech ecosystem and to be a part of the Lorntech and French Tech. We look forward to supporting Lorraine’s entrepreneurs in their international development.
